Eclectically furnished with textural linen, mohair, mother of pearl and silver, Tewdr House is delightfully contemporary yet warm in atmosphere.

Newly built with traditional materials this house has style in architecture and interior in its use of layers. The private gate accesses into the Indian stone paved patio which when wet with rain enhances the terracotta colours of the stone and upon which the terracotta planted pots sit. An enchanting umbrella is the feature of the outdoor furniture and with a front door as well as double patio doors, the ground floor gives the impression of double its size. The open plan kitchen / dining /sitting room is spacious yet cosy with a Country Living painted and distressed kitchen.

A well stocked kitchen has an eclectic mix of antique silver plated cutlery for dinner as well as fine china and everyday general crockery and cutlery. Not only has the kitchen a double Falcon gas oven but also a large Royal gas BBQ on the patio. Pretty linens and mohair throws adorn with mother of pearl accessories.

A laundry / cloakroom on the ground floor is fitted with a washer and dryer and cloak hanging space. The stairs rise to the first floor which has a single bedroom and general bath / shower room and a double bedroom with en-suite dressing / shower wet-room. The second double bedroom on the next floor also has an en-suite shower wet-room.

Parking is situated within the landscaped Courtyard while the oak entrance gate is situated off the private gravel landscaped driveway. Access is gained to the private estate from Drumming Well Lane off Milton Road behind the Oundle School Great Hall in the heart of the town.
